The club is chartered as a 501(C)3 charity, privately organized and operated by the support of volunteers and donations.
The mission of the club is to provide logistical support and to help leverage the collective efforts of the program’s supporters, in order to maximize our players’ experience. The Chardon Gridiron Club serves to assist Head coach Mitch Hewitt with the Football Administration and Operations as they directly relate to the benefit of players, parents and the program as a whole. In addition, the club also raises money for the unfunded needs of the program. emphasis is placed on soliciting outside funds and organizing fundraising activities to help minimize additional costs that might otherwise fall to parents/players.
All the proceeds raised go to benefit the players and the program.
In conclusion, the Chardon Gridiron Club focuses on providing every player and parent with an enjoyable playing experience during their time within the Chardon Football program. It is our sincere hope that over time, we are able to build a proactive base of players, Parents & Volunteers that will continue to connect with and support Chardon Football.
